Spray Foam Insulation
Spray Foam Insulation or spray polyurethane foam is an alternative to fiberglass building insulation. It is an insulation and air barrier that seals walls, ceiling cavities and floors against air movement. Spray foam can be sprayed into an open cavity (new construction), attics, crawl spaces and rim joists.  Spray foam is being used more frequently due to the comfort and energy efficiency benefits.
- Reduces energy costs
- Adds comfort
- Enhances process performance
- Prevents moisture condensation
- Never loses shape
- Fills cracks gaps and crevicesÂ
Attic Insulation
The most common types of Attic insulation are spray foam, loose fill fiberglass, cellulose and fiberglass batts. You can use any of these forms or a combination of them to effectively insulate your attic.
- Increases your home’s comfort
- Saves you money on bills
- Protects the environment
- Protects HVAC unit and equipment
- Improves indoor air quality
Concrete Lifting-Leveling
Concrete leveling is completed using a polyurethane foam that is strong and permanent. Using a high density polymer to raise a slab of concrete or driveway back to a desired level, Thermal Guard will drill small holes directly into the concrete and inject the foam straight into them. Once the void is completely filled the polyurethane begins to expand raising the slab to the desired level.Â
- Saves money over replacement
- Less destructive
- Can be completed in 1 day
- No mismatching of concrete
- Reduces trip hazards and restores property value
- Environmentally friendly material
Air Sealing
Can be completed using Spray foam, air sealing eliminates gaps in the building envelope, reducing air leakage from the walls, floors and windows.
- Saves you money on bills
- Maintains comfort in home
- Fewer drafts rooms
- Provides even temperature throughout the hom
- Possible tax credits
- Minimize dust, mold and midlew
Crawl Space Encapsulation
All Crawlspace’s are different, however most contain moisture, encapsulation reduces the moisture in a crawlspace, therefore reducing the mold risk. A heavy duty polyethylene barrier is added to completely cover your crawlspace, followed by a sealing tape to connect the pieces throughout.
- Lower Energy Bills/Saves you money
- Moisture control, resulting in a decrease of mold growth
- Improved Air quality in your home and crawlspace
- Reduction of insects/pest infestation
- Great Storage area after encapsulation complete
- Possible Tax Credit
Basement Insulation
Basements should be insulated on their perimeters, they should not be insulated between floors. The most efficient way to insulate a basement is spray foaming the walls and the rim joists using open-cell spray foam.
However depending on the project, Thermal Guard can direct you specifically on your best option due to the many different ways to and or circumstances of your basement.
- Lowers moisture content
- Increases comfort
- Eliminates threat of insect infestation
- Saves you money
Driveways
Driveways are completed using a polyurethane foam that is strong and permanent. Using a high-density polymer to raise a slab of concrete or driveway back to the desired level, Thermal Guard will drill small holes directly into the concrete and inject the foam straight into them. Once the void is completely filled the polyurethane begins to expand raising the slab to the desired level.Â
- Saves money over replacement
- Less destructive

- No mismatching of concrete
- Reduces trip hazards and restores property value

Injection Foam
Injection foam is a type of foam that is injected into a wall cavity to create a seal against air movement.
Injection foam creates an air barrier that will prevent drafting and energy loss through exterior walls.
- No settling or sagging
- Seals wall cavities and other enclosed spaces
- Saves you money
